About Cécile Raynor:

Born and raised in Paris, France, Cécile Raynor studied at the Sorbonne before working on a PHD in the U.S. where she decided to settle when she started a family. While teaching the Alexander Technique for 30+ years, she was featured both on TV and radio. Her blog applying her work to yoga has been read by thousands of people in 100 different countries. Cecile is the author of The Wise Way to Yoga (2018) & Body Wisdom Magic (2025). Grounded in the Alexander Technique and the Inner Coach Method™, her work centers on Integrated Functioning – the natural cooperation of body parts with each other and of body, mind, heart, and spirit. Through her teaching, writing, and experiential approach, she helps people discover and clear what’s in the way of resolving recurring physical or emotional pain so they can move forward in life with greater ease and lasting results.
