About Jyl Dedier:

Jyl Dedier is an oncology nurse, a wife, and a mother of three who has dedicated her life to caring for others. Her work as a nurse reflects her deep compassion for people, and writing for children is her way of extending that care to the next generation. Jyl is the creator of the Maria Manners book series, beginning with her debut, Maria Manners and the Please Note. Jyl discovered the joy of writing while bringing this story to life, and she hopes her readers will feel the same joy when turning its pages. She resides in the Boston area with her family.
