About Dr. Heather Hirsch:
Heather Hirsch, MD, MS, MSCP is a board-certified internist through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), an entrepreneur, and the founder of The Collaborative by Heather Hirsch MD—a telemedicine practice specializing in personalized care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. She also leads Health by Heather Hirsch LLC, a company focused on education and media to improve awareness and understanding of women's health for the general public and healthcare professionals. Dr. Hirsch is the author of Unlock Your Menopause Type, a groundbreaking book that helps women understand and manage their unique menopause experience. Before starting her own ventures, Dr. Hirsch completed specialized training in women's health at the Cleveland Clinic. She established the Menopause and Midlife Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital and held a teaching position at Harvard Medical School.Dr. Hirsch is frequently featured in the media as a trusted voice on women's health, appearing in Oprah Daily, Live with Kelly and Mark, The Drew Barrymore Show, and The New York Times. About Dr Alana Franklin
Dr. Alana Franklin is a primary care physician with over 15 years of clinical experience. Dual board-certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Franklin is known for building meaningful, long-term relationships with multi-generational families and delivering compassionate and personalized care.
Dr. Franklin earned her medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook and completed her residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining PersonalMDs, she spent more than 12 years at Wellesley Family Care Associates, a Mass General Brigham affiliate practice. She also served as an Instructor of Medicine at Tufts Medical School, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based care and medical education.
Her clinical interests center on improving health and wellness outcomes with a strong focus on cancer risk reduction and the use of lifestyle interventions to prevent metabolic disease and extend patients’ “health span.” She has a special interest in Women’s Health and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through the Menopause Society.
Dr. Franklin lives in Chestnut Hill with her husband, Adam, and their four children.
